James Hwang

James Hwang currently serves as General Manager at Meritz Securities since December 2019. Prior to this role, James was the Planning & Development Manager at meridien DNI from April 2017 to December 2019, overseeing underwriting for commercial development and acquisition projects. Earlier experience includes serving as a Development Analyst at Wood Partners, where James underwrote numerous Class-A apartment projects and contributed to substantial developments in the Phoenix and Las Vegas areas. James also held the position of Section Manager at Buma General Construction Co., leading a team on residential developments. James's career began in the Republic of Korea Marine Corps, where responsibilities included leading a squad and participating in military planning. Academic credentials include a Master of Real Estate Development from W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Architectural Engineering from Korea University.
