Murat Ç.

Murat Ç. has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to information security, risk management, IT auditing, and software development. Murat started their career at Sisecam as a Process Development Engineer from 1999 to 2002. Murat then worked at HRA APS/IT and HRA/MIS as a Software Development Analyst from 2004 to 2007. In 2009, Murat joined Merkezi Kayıt Kuruluşu A.Ş. (MKK), where they held multiple positions including Chief IT Auditor, Cyber Security and Network Operation Manager, Information Security and Risk Manager, and Director of Information Security and Risk Management Department. Murat has extensive experience in managing and securing information systems. In 2021, they also became a CISO Advisory Board Member at IDC | Turkiye.

Murat Ç.'s education history begins in 1993 when they enrolled at Anadolu University. Murat pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and completed their studies in 1997.

After a gap of several years, Murat returned to education in 2004 and attended The City University of New York. Murat pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and completed the program in 2007.

In the present day, Murat is continuing their education at Bahcesehir University. Murat began their studies in 2021 and is expected to graduate in 2023 with an Executive MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General.

In addition to their formal education, Murat has obtained several certifications. In 2013, they earned the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) credential from ISACA. Murat further expanded their credentials with the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification in 2020, also from ISACA. Additionally, they obtained the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) certification and the Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer™ (CDPSE™) certification in 2020, both from ISACA. Murat also holds the Certified Internal Control Professional (CICP) designation from the Internal Control Institute, which they obtained in 2021.

Furthermore, Murat has acquired expertise in various areas through certifications such as the Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute in 2014, the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in 2021, and the Citrix Certified Associate - Networking and Citrix Certified Professional - Networking from Citrix in 2017.

Finally, Murat has achieved lead auditor certifications for various management systems including ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 20000 IT Service Management System, and ISO 27701 Privacy Information Management System. These certifications were obtained from ANKA GLOBAL Conformity Assessment Services Ltd. in 2021 and 2023.
