Sezgin Yildirim, FRM

Sezgin Yildirim, FRM has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Sezgin is currently employed at Merkezi Kayıt Kuruluşu A.Ş. (MKK) as the Chief Expert and Head of Data Analysis/Management since May 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Prometeia from November 2017 to May 2019, where they provided Financial Risk Management and Wealth Management Analytics Advisory services.

From December 2015 to November 2017, Sezgin worked at FIS as a Senior Quantitative Analyst and Front Arena Senior Consultant. Before that, they were a Senior Consultant at Accenture from January 2014 to December 2015. Sezgin also gained experience as a Financial Risk Manager at Yapı Kredi Asset Management in 2013, and as a Financial Risk Management Associate at İş Asset Management from February 2010 to January 2013.

Their career began at the Industrial Development Bank of Turkey, where they served as an FX/Money Market Dealer from August 2007 to July 2009. Throughout their various roles, Sezgin has developed expertise in financial risk management, data analysis, wealth management analytics, and consulting.

Sezgin Yildirim, FRM, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Boğaziçi University, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Financial Engineering at Boğaziçi University from 2007 to 2009.

In terms of additional certifications, Sezgin Yildirim obtained the Capital Markets Board Derivatives Licence from SPK – Capital Markets Board of Turkey in September 2010. Sezgin also acquired the Capital Markets Board Advanced Level certification from the same institution in May 2010.

Sezgin Yildirim has also attained the Agile Product Owner certification from Digital Vizyon Akademi in January 2023. Additionally, they have completed the Agile Business Analysis certification from the same institution, although the specific date of completion is not provided.

Furthermore, Sezgin Yildirim is a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) accredited by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
