Vice President, Cloud Compliance at Merlin International

Jason Oksenhendler has a diverse work experience, with a focus on cloud compliance and security. Jason is currently Vice President of Cloud Compliance at Merlin Cyber since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Coalfire as the Director of FedRAMP/StateRAMP/NIST Advisory Subject Matter Expert from February 2020 to June 2023 and as a Senior Manager from January 2018 to February 2021. Jason also worked at Noblis NSP as the FedRAMP JAB TRR (GSA) from March 2015 to December 2017, and at Datapipe as the FedRAMP Program Manager/Senior Compliance & Security Analyst from February 2013 to February 2015. Before entering the cybersecurity field, they gained experience in other industries, including working as a Security Analyst at Senet International from June 2008 to February 2013, as a Financial Editor at Standard & Poor's from November 2006 to June 2008, and as a News Anchor at West Virginia Media Holdings, LLC from September 2003 to November 2006.

Jason Oksenhendler, CISM, CAP, CCSK, has a strong educational background and has obtained multiple certifications throughout their career. Jason earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from Quinnipiac University, completing their studies from 1995 to 1999. Jason also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from the same institution during the same time period.

In 2010, Jason obtained the ISC2 Certification Authorization Professional (CAP) certification from ISC2. This certification demonstrates their expertise in the field of information security and authorization processes. Furthermore, in 2019, they earned the CCSK certification from the Cloud Security Alliance, highlighting their proficiency in cloud security.

Most recently, Jason pursued further education and is currently in the process of earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Maryland Global Campus. Jason began their studies in 2022 and is expected to complete their degree in 2024.
