Matthew Fieser

Matthew Fieser is an experienced aerospace engineer with a focus on flight test engineering and systems engineering. Currently serving as the Lead of Flight Test Engineering at Merlin since April 2024, Matthew previously held the position of Senior Flight Test Engineer at Supernal from September 2022 to April 2024. Matthew's expertise includes leading test teams, developing test plans and procedures, conducting hazard assessments, and managing test events and budgets. Prior to Supernal, Matthew worked at Northrop Grumman as a Principal System Test Engineer and Program Manager in System Test, contributing to the successful completion of multiple systems engineering milestones. Matthew's background also includes positions at Perspecta, Vencore Inc., Signature Flight Support, and DaVinci Roofscapes, highlighting a diverse skill set across various roles and responsibilities in the aerospace industry. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Kansas, a Master of Engineering Management in Systems Engineering from Auburn University, and completed a course in Flight Test Principles and Practices at the United States Naval Test Pilot School.
