Sean Candon

Sean Candon is a Senior Staff Avionics Software Engineer at Merlin, specializing in model-based software development for autonomous flight control systems since July 2023. Previously, Candon spent nearly a decade at Northrop Grumman, advancing from a Fuel System Engineer to a Lead Fuel System Engineer, overseeing the design and testing phases of fuel systems for aircraft and acting as the technical liaison for customers. Early experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Virginia, conducting computational fluid dynamics research, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant position at the University of Vermont. Candon holds a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont.
