Aditya Vempaty

Aditya Vempaty has extensive work experience in the field of AI systems and research. Aditya currently holds the position of Engineering Manager, AI Systems at Merlyn Mind since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Principal Research Scientist at Merlyn Mind starting from August 2018.

Before joining Merlyn Mind, Aditya worked at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center. Aditya held the role of Research Staff Member from March 2017 to August 2018, and previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher from August 2015 to March 2017.

Aditya's academic background includes research work and studies at Syracuse University. Aditya worked as a Research Assistant (RA) from August 2011 to July 2015, and was a PHD Graduate Student from August 2011 to June 2015.

During their academic journey, Aditya also had a visiting role as a PHD student at the University of Illinois - Coordinated Science Laboratory in June 2014.

Aditya gained industry experience as a Reliability Technology Intern at Intel Corporation from May 2013 to August 2013.

Aditya Vempaty received their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, between 2007 and 2011. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Syracuse University, from 2011 to 2015.
