Kristy Hastings is an experienced professional in the field of exercise physiology and education. Currently serving as a Sessional Lecturer at RMIT University and La Trobe University since July 2021, Kristy also holds the position of Course Accreditation Reviewer for Exercise & Sports Science Australia. In addition, Kristy has been a Senior Exercise Physiologist at Merri Health since August 2014, providing specialist support in Reablement and Dementia services. Former roles include exercising clinical supervision for exercise physiologists and authoring outcome measures to ensure evidence-based practice. Kristy’s educational background includes a degree in Health Professional Education from Monash University, ongoing studies in Dementia Care at the University of Tasmania, and degrees in Human Movement and Exercise Rehabilitation from Deakin University and Victoria University, respectively.
