Nessá Wright

Nessá Wright (Pastoors) has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Nessá is currently working at Merri Health as the Chief Operating Officer since July 2021. Prior to that, they held positions such as the General Manager of COVID19 Response & Recovery and General Manager of People & Communications at the same company. Nessá also worked as an HR Manager at Merri Health from 2012 to 2016.

Before joining Merri Health, Nessá served as a General Member of the Board at Pines Learning from 2011 to 2018. Nessá was also a General Board Member at Anchor from 2012 to 2016.

Earlier in their career, Nessá held HR managerial roles at Australian Home Care from 2009 to 2012 and UnitingCare Moreland Hall from 2006 to 2009. Nessá also gained experience as an HR Supervisor at Orchestra Victoria, HR Advisor at Emergency Technical Services (ETC), and HR Advisor at National Protective Services. Nessá's career began as an HR Officer at DTS Group in 2003.

Nessá Wright (Pastoors) has a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice from Griffith University, obtained in 2008. Nessá then pursued a Masters of Employment Relations from Griffith University from 2011 to 2013. In 2014, Nessá obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from RMIT University. In 2022 and 2023, they completed the Graduate of Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Additionally, in 2023, they obtained a certification in Sustainability for Strategic Advantage from Canvas Credentials (Badgr).
