Samantha Dittrich

Samantha Dittrich has a diverse work experience that spans across various sectors. Samantha has held positions in the field of global health and health security, as well as clinical research and nursing.

Samantha'smost recent role was with Merrick & Company, where they served as the Associate Director for Global Health Security. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager for Global Health Security in the same company. Samantha joined Merrick & Company in 2019 and is currently in their role as Associate Director, which they started in September 2020.

In 2021, Samantha joined the Global Health Security Agenda Consortium as the Chair, a position they will hold until January 2023.

Before joining Merrick & Company, Samantha had experience in the field of global health and security as the Regional Development Manager for Global Health & Global Health Security at BMJ from June 2018 to January 2019. Samantha worked at PRA Health Sciences from 2007 to 2012, starting as an In-House Clinical Research Associate and eventually progressing to Senior Drug Safety Associate. Samantha also worked as a Nurse at Georgetown University Hospital from August 2006 to May 2007 and as a Nurse Extern at Sibley Memorial Hospital from May 2005 to August 2005.

Samantha began their professional journey as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia Center for Nursing Research from October 2004 to May 2005.
