Kandace Schoelen is an experienced professional in quality assurance and research and development, currently serving as the Quality Assurance Manager and previously the R&D Manager at Merrick Natural Petworks since January 2018. Prior to this role, Kandace accumulated significant experience at Nestlé Purina North America from January 2009 to December 2017, where various positions included Assistant QA Manager, QA and Additives Manager, and Quality Assurance Assistant Manager. Early career experiences included internships at Milliken & Company and Propex in 2006 and 2008, respectively. Kandace holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Clemson University, earned between 2004 and 2008.

It might take us longer to hand-stuff ingredients in some of our Merrick wet recipes, and to source USDA Organic Certified ingredients for our Castor & Pollux ORGANIX line, but that’s the Merrick Way.
