Dan Gora

Dan Gora has a diverse work experience spanning legal and technology procurement roles. Dan started their career as a Law Clerk and then Attorney at Spence, Ricke & Thurmer P.A., and later joined Weatherman, Wolters & Gora PLLP as a Partner-Attorney. In 1997, they worked as an Information Technology Auditor at Dayton-Hudson Corp. (Target Corp.) and then moved to Carlson as a Senior Systems Auditor. In 1999, they became a Technology Audit Supervisor at Diageo. From 2000 to 2007, they served as the Director of Technology Procurement at The Thomson Corporation. Dan then joined Faegre Baker Daniels LLP as the Director of Sourcing & Governance, responsible for coordinating the firm's sourcing and vendor management strategies. In 2015, they became the Head of Technology Vendor Management Program at Prime Therapeutics. Currently, they are working at Datasite as a Senior Manager: Technology Sourcing, where they are responsible for negotiations and risk management activities.

Dan Gora has an extensive education history. Dan obtained a Masters degree in Software Systems - MSS from the University of St. Thomas from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed a Masters degree in Business Administration - MBA from the same university between 1994 and 1996. Dan also obtained a JD degree in Law from Mitchell Hamline School of Law from 1992 to 1995.

Earlier in their education, Dan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Northern Illinois University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the same institution. These degrees were completed between 1988 and 1992.

Before their undergraduate studies, Dan attended Naperville North High School, although the specific years of their attendance are unknown.

In addition to their diverse educational background, Dan has also obtained several certifications. Dan became a Certified Technology Procurement Executive (CTPE) through the International Computer Negotiations, Inc. in 2008. Dan also obtained the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA in June 1998. Furthermore, Dan is licensed as an Attorney in both Illinois and Minnesota, with the Illinois license obtained in June 1996 and the Minnesota license obtained in November 1995.
