Shane Ferguson

Shane Ferguson is currently serving as the Wide Receivers Coach and Director of Football Operations at Merrimack College since February 2017, where responsibilities include assisting the Head Football Coach and managing a group of approximately 18 athletes. Prior to this role, Shane held the position of Wide Receivers Coach at Lafayette College from March 2016 to February 2017, where recruiting efforts focused on West Coast High Schools and public schools in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Shane's extensive coaching experience at Merrimack College also includes serving as a Wide Receiver Coach and Specialist Coach from December 2013 to March 2016, alongside a stint as a Strength and Conditioning Intern in hockey in 2012 and in football at Rutgers University in 2011. Shane began coaching as a volunteer in the Point Pleasant School District from 2008 to 2010. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Merrimack College, earned in 2013.
