Zoe Sherman

Associate Professor, Economics at Merrimack College

Zoe Sherman is an Associate Professor of Economics at Merrimack College, where a tenure track has involved teaching and curriculum design for undergraduate courses in various areas of economics since September 2014. In addition to academic roles, Zoe serves as Co Editor for Rethinking Marxism, managing the journal's submission processes and contributing to the podcast "Overdetermined." Zoe is also an Editorial Collective Member for Dollars & Sense, focusing on economic justice issues, and previously held editorial board responsibilities for the Review of Radical Political Economics. Earlier in the career, Zoe gained experience as adjunct faculty at Emmanuel College and held communications directorship at the Center for Popular Economics, alongside multiple roles as Staff Piano Technician at Interlochen Center for the Arts. Educational achievements include a PhD in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master's degree in American Studies from UMass Boston, along with a strong foundation in Mathematics and Music from Bard College at Simon's Rock and training in Piano Technology.
