Sally Hirsh-Dickinson

Sally Hirsh-Dickinson is currently a Board Member at MERRIMACK VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT. Prior to that, they served as a Trustee at the New Hampshire Writers' Project from 2014 to 2017. Sally has also held the position of Chairperson at Rivier University Faculty Senate from May 2018 to September 2019. In this role, they worked with fellow faculty and Rivier University administration to advance and support the work of the institution and fulfill its mission of "transforming hearts and minds to serve the world." Sally has also authored a book, Penned _Dirty Whites and Dark Secrets: Sex and Race in PEYTON PLACE_, the first full-length scholarly study of Grace Metalious's scandalous 1956 novel. Sally previously served as an Associate Professor of English at Rivier University and as a Visiting Instructor at Colby-Sawyer College from January 2005 to December 2006.

Sally Hirsh-Dickinson has a Ph.D. in English from the University of New Hampshire and a B.A. in English and Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Sally also has a certification from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in MasterTrack Certificate in Instructional Design and a certification from the University of New Hampshire in Ph.D.
