Christina Wong is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in cancer biology and drug resistance mechanisms. Currently serving as Scientist II at Takeda since April 2019 and a Cancer Biologist at Merrimack since December 2017, Christina has executed numerous efficacy studies and successfully developed CRISPR knockout cell lines for target gene evaluation. Christina's previous roles include a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, where research focused on tumor microenvironment and its impact on drug resistance, and as Course Administrator for a Harvard Medical School course. Earlier positions involved establishing mouse models for breast cancer metastasis at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research and investigating endothelial cell roles in breast cancer at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Christina holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Melbourne and has contributed significantly to the understanding of cancer biology through various advanced research initiatives.
