Emily Carter

Emily Carter is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in journalism and account management. Currently serving as an Account Executive at Merritt Group since May 2022, Emily has progressed through roles including Account Coordinator and Intern. Previous experience includes freelance writing for Richmond Magazine and a writing position at Prince William Living, where local artists and community members were highlighted. Emily also held the position of Lifestyles Editor and Staff Writer at Collegiate Times, managing a team of writers and contributing a variety of articles. An education in Multimedia Journalism was attained at Virginia Tech, supplemented by an Advanced High School Diploma from Varina High School.
