Katie M.

Katie M. has a diverse work experience in various industries. Katie started their career in the US Navy, where they held multiple roles, including Program Manager and Technical Program Manager. In these positions, they demonstrated strong leadership skills and managed budgets and projects. After their military service, they joined Sonos, Inc. as a People Experience Specialist, where they handled various HR processes and provided guidance to employees and leadership. Katie then moved to Orion Talent, where they served as an Internal Talent Lead and People Partner. In these roles, they built and led a centralized internal TA division, implemented standardization for hiring, and developed sourcing strategies for recruiting a wide range of positions. Currently, they are working as a Senior Leadership Development Consultant at The ExCo Group.

Katie M.'s education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Honors English from the United States Naval Academy, which they completed from 2010 to 2014. In 2013, they took part in a Spanish Language and Literature program at Universitat d'Alacant. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Applied Psychology with a specialization in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Liberty University, which they started in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Katie M. has obtained certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in November 2020. Katie is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) certified by the Yoga Alliance, achieved in May 2019.
