Cassandra Wheat

Cassandra Wheat is an accomplished product designer with extensive experience in the fashion industry. Currently serving as the Head of Product at Merry People since May 2021, Cassandra previously held roles at July as a Product Designer and at Buzz Products as a Senior Product Designer. Cassandra also contributed to the field of fashion education as a part-time lecturer in fashion design at RMIT University from 2011 to 2018, focusing on design and product development. As Director of the independent fashion label Chorus from 2013 to 2017, Cassandra was instrumental in designing high-end women's fashion. Earlier experience includes accessory design at VIKTOR&ROLF and menswear design assistance at Country Road Group. Academically, Cassandra holds a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Learning and Teaching from RMIT University, an MA in Fashion from Domus Academy, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion from RMIT University.
