Tim Galian has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Tim started their career in 1987 at Sound Playground, where they excelled in sales and played a crucial role in making the car stereo department a larger percentage of overall store sales. In 1991, they founded Home Theater Innovations Inc., an integration firm focused on providing excellent audio and video solutions.

From 1999 to 2001, Tim worked at Media Systems as an engineer, specializing in system design and programming for custom integration clients in both commercial and residential settings. Following that, they served as the Director of Integration and Programming Standards at Tweeter from 2001 to 2005, managing and mentoring integration staff while maximizing market potential and profitability through cross-platform templates and programming strategies.

Tim then joined Sony in 2005 as a Senior Sales Support Engineer, where they played a key role in technical support, training, and product life cycle management. Tim also contributed significantly to trade shows, marketing events, and unified messaging across categories for the consumer electronics company until August 2012.

Afterward, Tim worked at Canon Inc. as a Technical Marketing Specialist in the Professional Engineering Solutions Group from 2013 to 2014. Tim'sresponsibilities included product management, competitive market research, technology research, and planning and executing marketing strategies for professional projectors and 4K displays.

From 2014 to 2016, Tim served as the President of TMG Creative Consulting, where they collaborated on various marketing, photography, and graphics projects. Tim also worked as a freelance consultant with custom installation companies, providing programming, engineering, and installation expertise.

Tim's most recent role was at Barco, where they joined in 2016 and held multiple positions. As part of the Technical Sales and Marketing Education team, they brought a new SAS/Hardware solution to the market in higher education and corporate settings. Tim'sresponsibilities included system design, implementation, training, and involvement in the go-to-market sales and marketing strategy. Tim also held the role of Sales Marketing and Support Education for the North American market at Barco.

In 2018, Tim joined Mersive Technologies as a Sales Engineer, contributing to sales efforts and providing technical expertise.

Throughout their career, Tim Galian has demonstrated expertise in sales, technical support, training, product management, marketing, and system design in various industries, including consumer electronics, custom integration, and professional engineering solutions.

Tim Galian attended Waterbury State Technical College from 1985 to 1987, where they studied Data Processing. In 1999 and 2000, they enrolled at Gateway Community College, specializing in Business/Corporate Communications. In addition to their education, they obtained the ISF-C Calibration certification from Brawn Consulting in June 2013.
