Jaci John

Jaci John has extensive experience in public service, particularly within the Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council. Currently serving as an Office Administrator since July 2020, Jaci is involved in managing the carers scheme allowance introduced by the Welsh Government to support social care staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously, Jaci held various roles at Merthyr Tydfil CBC from January 1981 to April 2019, including Business Rates Officer, where exceptional customer service was delivered across multiple access channels, and NDR Officer, focusing on business rates billing and recovery. Earlier professional experience includes a position as a Remedial Teachers Assistant at Mid Glamorgan County Council, supporting children with emotional and behavioral challenges. Education was received at Cyfarthfa Comprehensive.
