Dan Hennessy

Dan Hennessy has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dan'smost recent role is as Vice President of Medical Affairs at Merus N.V. starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they served as Vice President of Medical Affairs at Constellation Pharmaceuticals from August 2020 to May 2022.

From 2015 to 2020, Dan held various leadership positions at EMD Serono, Inc., including Vice President of Field Medical Affairs, Interim Oncology Therapeutic Area Head, and Senior Medical Director of Portfolio Strategy.

Before joining EMD Serono, Dan worked at sanofi-aventis as the National Director for Health Outcomes Liaisons and Senior Director of Medical Communications for Global Oncology Medical Affairs.

Earlier in their career, they held roles at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, DDH Consulting Corp, and AACT- Abt Associates Clinical Trials.

Dan's experience is extensive and encompasses medical affairs, field medical affairs, portfolio strategy, and medical communications.

Dan Hennessy received a BA in History from Colgate University in 1996. Dan then went on to earn an MBA in Marketing from UMass Boston between 1997 and 1999. During the same period, they pursued a PhD in Pharmacokinetics at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, completing it in 2002. Additionally, they obtained an MS in Regulatory Affairs/Health Policy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences from 1999 to 2001. Hennessy has also acquired several certifications, including "Six Sigma Foundations," "Leading in Crisis," "The Data Science of Healthcare, Medicine, and Public Health, with Barton Poulson," and "Jeff Dyer on Innovation" from LinkedIn, most recently in 2020 and 2019.
