Merus
Szabolcs Fatrai is currently a Scientist in Translational Research at Merus since November 2017, focusing on cancer research. Previously, Szabolcs worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Erasmus MC from 2015 to 2017 in the Department of Hematology, investigating RUNX1 and G-CSFR mutations in acute myeloid leukemia. Prior to that, Szabolcs held a similar position at UMC Utrecht in the Laboratory of Experimental Oncology from 2010 to 2014. Szabolcs completed a Ph.D. in Hematology at the University of Groningen between 2005 and 2010, specializing in STAT5 target genes and oncogenic signaling pathways. Earlier research experience includes positions as a Research Assistant at the University of Eastern Finland and Washington University in St. Louis, as well as working at Drug Research Center Ltd., focusing on diabetes-related genetic mutations and molecular biology. Szabolcs obtained a Master's Degree in Biology specialized in Molecular Genetics from Janus Pannonius University in Hungary.
