Wout Hesen

Wout Hesen is an accomplished IT executive with extensive experience in business solutions and application lifecycle management. Currently serving as Senior Director of IT Business Solutions at Merus N.V. since September 2023, Wout previously held significant roles at Astellas Europe, including Director of Application Lifecycle Management and Associate Director of Informatics Global Development. Prior career highlights include positions at Genzyme Europe as Associate IT Director for Biomedical & Regulatory Affairs and at Eli Lilly as Regulatory IT Manager. Wout's expertise encompasses program and project management, ITIL, agile methodologies, business process improvement, and regulatory affairs. Wout holds a PhD in Neurobiology from the University of Amsterdam and a Master's in Medical Biology from Utrecht University.
