Chris Groppi has over 25 years of work experience in various roles in the engineering and manufacturing fields. Chris is currently the Senior Director of Engineering, Facilities, and Maintenance at Merz Aesthetics, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director of Engineering at the same company from April 2018 to February 2023. From 2013 to 2023, Chris worked at Merz North America as the Director of Manufacturing Science and Technology, overseeing technology transfer and scale-up activities for Class III medical devices. Chris also held the role of Director of R&D Engineering at Merz Aesthetics Inc. from 2003 to 2013. Before that, they worked as a Quality Engineer at Teleflex Medical OEM from 2002 to 2003 and as an R&D Engineer at ACMI from 1996 to 2002.
Chris Groppi attended Marquette University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. Chris then pursued a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Technology Management at the same university, from 1997 to 2002.
