Keith Sandford

Keith Sandford is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in hardware engineering and project management, currently serving as the Director of R&D Hardware Engineering at Merz Aesthetics since October 2019. In this role, Keith has successfully directed the R&D Hardware team for the global launch of the PRIME Ultherapy System while managing engineering talent and driving future growth initiatives. Previous positions include Engineering Manager, where Keith improved R&D Standard Operating Procedures and managed a site cleanout project, and Principal Product Engineer, achieving significant reductions in failure rates for ultrasound systems. Keith’s earlier career spanned two decades at St. Jude Medical in various engineering roles, culminating as Hybrid Product Engineering Manager, overseeing engineering teams and developing innovative production processes. Keith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from San Diego State University.
