Tim Schmidt-Lange

Tim Schmidt-Lange has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Tim is currently the Head of Project & Event Management, Global Medical Affairs at Merz Aesthetics since October 2020. Prior to that, they were the Senior Manager / Head of Conference & Event Management Region EMEA at the same company from April 2020 to October 2020.

Before joining Merz Aesthetics, Tim worked at Merz Pharmaceuticals from 2010 to 2020. Tim'sroles at Merz Pharmaceuticals include Senior Manager / Head Conference & Event Management Aesthetics & Therapeutics from January 2016 to March 2020, Manager Conference & Event Management Aesthetics from January 2012 to December 2015, and Expert Conference & Event Management Aesthetics from November 2010 to December 2011.

Tim also has experience working at MCI Group as a Senior Project Manager Exhibition & Sponsoring from January 2008 to October 2010, and as a Project Manager Exhibition & Sponsorship from October 2005 to December 2007. Tim worked at Congress Partner GmbH as a Project Coordinator Congress Accreditation & Housing from October 2004 to September 2005.

Additionally, Tim has worked as a freelancer in events and sales promotions from October 1997 to September 2004. Tim also has experience as a Trainee / Project Assistant at kogag Agentur für Live-Kommunikation GmbH from February 2002 to September 2002, as well as at MESSE BREMEN / M3B GmbH from October 2001 to March 2002.

Tim's early career includes a Trainee / Editorial Assistant role at Hit-Radio Antenne from November 2000 to March 2001.

Tim Schmidt-Lange attended Heidelberg University from 1997 to 1998, where they studied economics. Tim then went on to HSB Hochschule Bremen – City University of Applied Sciences from 1998 to 2004, where they pursued a degree in Tourism & Leisure Management and obtained a Diplom-Freizeitwissenschaftler (FH) degree.
