Harold Victor Taylor

Harold Victor Taylor is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as the Head of Analytics and Formulation Development at Merz Therapeutics since September 2002, Taylor is responsible for the analysis of biologicals, including analytical method development and the management of external research organizations. Previous roles at Merz include CMC liaison officer for the development and registration of highly potent biologicals and Section Head of Preformulations. Additionally, Taylor was the Head of Quality Control for Biologics at Merz Pharmaceuticals from January 2006 to May 2025, overseeing quality control for clinical trials in compliance with the 14th German Pharmaceuticals Act. Taylor holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from the University of Tübingen.
