Hisham Sharif, PhD, BCMAS, currently serves as a Medical Science Liaison at Merz Therapeutics since August 2022. Prior to this role, Hisham held the position of Associate Research Fellow at The City College of New York from 2018 to 2022, where Hisham developed collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders and provided medical education on neuromodulation and treatment plans for paralysis. Hisham also worked as a Clinical Liaison at Power Cord Neuromuscular Rehabilitation from 2011 to 2017, educating patients on treatment options for spinal cord injuries and liaising with physicians. Furthermore, Hisham gained research experience as a Graduate Researcher at Brock University and contributed to student education as a Lecturer and Instructor. Hisham obtained a PhD in Cardiovascular Autonomic Regulation in Spinal Cord Injury from Brock University and earlier earned a Master's degree in Functional Electrical Stimulation Ambulation in Spinal Cord Injury and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from McMaster University.
