Marcus Gollub

Marcus Gollub is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, currently serving as Präsident and Head of Region Europe at Merz Therapeutics since April 2020. Prior to this role, Marcus held various leadership positions at Merz Group, including Vice President and Head of Commercial Excellence EMEA from June 2012 to April 2020. Earlier in their career, Marcus worked for Takeda Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included Alliance Manager Marketing for the Respiratory D-A-CH region and heading Franchise Marketing for Gastroenterology. Marcus began a career in marketing at Altana Pharma, progressing from Junior Brand Manager to Group Leader, and started in sales as a Sales Force Representative at Byk Gulden. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Natural Science, specializing in Biochemistry and Marine Biology from Kiel University, as well as education at Justus Liebig University Giessen.
