Brian Garcia

Brian Garcia has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. Brian began their career at MG Diesel & Equipment Repair as General Help. In 2008, they joined NMSU-ICT-Lab as a Lab Assistant and was later promoted to Lab Monitor. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing up to 30 employees, answering phones, filling out paperwork, inspecting labs, solving problems, notifying employees of important changes, maintaining the database for keycard access, and meeting regularly with superiors to discuss employee performance and organizational needs. In 2012, they moved to the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance, where they held the roles of Vice President of Business Development, Director of Project Management & Systems, and Research Analyst.

Brian Garcia attended New Mexico State University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems. Brian then returned to New Mexico State University from 2011 to 2012 to obtain their Master of Business Administration in Business Administration.
