Louis Mitchell

Louis Mitchell is currently the MD of Investment Banking at Mesirow Financial in Chicago. Louis has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on the packaging industry.

Louis started their career in 1990 as an Associate at TD Securities in their paper and forest products group. Louis then moved to SG Cowen in 1996, where they were a Vice President in their Investment Banking group. SG Cowen was the industry's first boutique M&A group with a dedicated focus on the packaging industry. In 1999, Louis moved to Salomon Smith Barney, where they were a Director in their Investment Banking group. Louis was a key member of Wall Street's most active group focusing on the packaging industry and advised on some of the sector's most notable transactions.

Louis has been with Mesirow Financial since 2004 and has been instrumental in growing their investment banking business. Under Louis's leadership, Mesirow Financial has become one of the leading middle market investment banks in the country.

Louis Mitchell has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business.
