Michael "Hoff" Hoffman

Michael "Hoff" Hoffman has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Michael "Hoff" is currently the CEO & Co-founder of IQXR, a company at the forefront of intelligent spatial computing technology. Prior to that, they were the Head of Platform at Mesmerise.

Before their involvement with IQXR and Mesmerise, Hoff founded Pijaz in 2010 and served as the CEO & Founder. Pijaz developed a highly optimized C++ real-time media individualization platform for various applications such as customized product creation, social networking, native advertising, and more.

Hoff has also worked at prominent tech companies such as Microsoft and Google. At Microsoft, they held the role of Principal Technical Lead for Mesh for Teams/MRTK, leading the Mixed Reality Toolkit (MRTK) & Middleware team. Michael "Hoff" received recognition for their work, winning the AWE "Best Developer Tool" Auggie Award in 2021.

Additionally, Hoff was a Founding Partner at Object Theory, where they served as an advisor and played a key role in digital transformation initiatives, SaaS enterprise platform provision, and XR implementation. Michael "Hoff" also contributed to showcase experiences for Microsoft HoloLens while working at Microsoft Studios.

Hoff's earlier experiences include roles at Nike, where they held positions such as Director of Solutions & Technology, Digital Sport and Engineering Manager/Senior Architect at Nike+ TechLab. Michael "Hoff" was responsible for delivering innovative solutions and managing technology teams. Michael "Hoff" also worked at Concert Technology, Inc. as the Director of Intellectual Property Analysis, assessing patent portfolios and prototyping multimedia social networking systems.

Prior to their roles at Nike and Concert Technology, Hoff worked as a Consultant at RHO Inc. From their track record, it is evident that they have extensive expertise in various industries, including tech, sports, and intellectual property analysis.

Michael "Hoff" Hoffman began their education in 1981 at North Carolina State University, where they studied in the School of Electrical Engineering. Michael "Hoff" attended this institution for one year, completing their studies in 1982. In the following year, 1982, Michael continued their education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Michael "Hoff" pursued their studies in the School of Electrical Engineering for another two years, completing their education at this institution in 1984.-
