Rick James

CEO at SimuTech Group

Rick James is the current CEO of SimuTech Group. Prior to this, they were the Process Engineering Development Manager at Sulzer from January 2000 to December 2002, where they oversaw mechanical and tissue heart valve manufacturing and design. From January 1996 to December 2000, they were a Semiconductor Packaging Engineer at Texas Instruments, where they were responsible for electrical modeling for RLC, S, spice. Rick also led multi-national multi-million dollar projects for IC packaging, FEA structural analyst for PCB and solder joint reliability and drop testing of cell phones, and managed capital spending for corporate capex for fab construction and equipping. Prior to that, they were an Application Engineer at PTC from January 1995 to December 1996.

Rick James earned their Doctor of Engineering in Engineering Management from Southern Methodist University. Rick also holds a BSME and MSME in Mechanical Engineering from the same school.
