Welton O'Neal III currently serves as a Project Specialist/Senior Policy Analyst at Forge Group, LLC, starting in April 2024. Previously, O'Neal worked as a Foreign Affairs Analyst for the United States Department of Defense from March 2022 to April 2024 and as a Foreign Affairs Officer at the U.S. Department of State from March 2021 to March 2022. O'Neal has also held a position as a Population & Development Consultant with the United Nations Population Fund in 2019, focusing on research related to population and sexual reproductive health. Earlier experience includes serving as a District Project Coordinator/Advisor for the DREAMS Initiative with USAID from 2016 to 2019. O'Neal holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Affairs from Seton Hall University, a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Drexel University, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Morehouse College. Additionally, O'Neal completed a program at Beijing Foreign Studies University focusing on Chinese language, government, economics, and media.
