Johnny Smith Ed.m.

Johnny Smith Ed.M. is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher and Head Softball Coach at Mesquite Independent School District since August 2003, where the softball team has achieved playoff appearances for nine consecutive seasons. Prior to this role, Johnny held the position of Vice President of Operations at Annexus Personnel and Business Services from November 1994 to June 2016. Additionally, Johnny worked at the Balch Springs Fire Department for a decade, serving as a Firefighter EMT and Arson Investigator while also holding responsibilities as a Fire Inspector and Training Officer. Johnny holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Kinesiology from East Texas A&M University.
