Michelle Rainey, MEd, MS, has extensive experience in the field of education and rehabilitation services. Currently serving as an ARD Facilitator and Special Education Teacher at Mesquite Independent School District since August 2017, Michelle has also held roles as a CCEIS Teacher and Special Education Teacher. Prior experience includes teaching Special Education at Aldine ISD and working as a Rehabilitation Specialist at The Menninger Clinic. Michelle's background also features positions as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and Consumer Case Coordinator with the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services, and as a Job Trainer with the MS Department of Rehabilitation Services. Michelle holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Lamar University, a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Jackson State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Grambling State University, supplemented by a Certificate in Business Management with a focus on Human Resource Management from Houston Community College.
