Reinhard Pfeiffer

dr Reinhard Pfeiffer , born in Rosenheim in 1963, has been CEO of the Messe München Group since July 2022. In a dual leadership role, he and Stefan Rummel are responsible for the overall management and coordination of the Messe München group.

He is responsible for the capital goods and technology trade fairs worldwide with brands such as BAU, drinktec, electronica, productronica, automatica, LASER, analytica, Lopec and Interforst as well as the public fair f.re.e. In addition, he is responsible for the guest events business area with ICM and MOC.

Internally, he is responsible for the business areas of finance and controlling, investment management in Germany and abroad, construction and technology as well as product marketing and sales.

Pfeiffer strengthened the portfolio of Messe München with formats in Germany such as digitalBAU or abroad with CHINA BREW CHINA BEVERAGE.

Pfeiffer started his professional career at Messe München GmbH in 2008 as a member of the management board, and since 2014 as deputy chairman of the management board. When he joined, he was able to contribute his experience as managing director of Bayern International GmbH and thus as a customer and partner of trade fair organizers.

Pfeiffer is Chairman of the Board of MM Shanghai, among other board memberships. Among other things, he is a member of the board of the AUMA exhibition and trade fair committee of the German economy and the GDG Association of German Large Fairs as well as a member of the DIHK tourism committee, the advisory board of Bayern LB and the ADAC Südbayern e.
