Thomas M. Lampe

VP, Nashville Region at Messer

Tom began his career with Messer in 1991 after graduating from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in civil engineering. Over more than 25 years, he embraced new roles with increasing levels of responsibility. Tom is now serving as the leader of Messer’s Nashville region and operations where he was instrumental in opening the office in 2006. Before this, he served as Project Development Vice President, where he provided leadership and strategic counsel to project development team members in each of Messer’s nine regions. Tom’s construction background includes preconstruction, estimating, planning, value engineering, and project management. He has a broad scope of knowledge with specific expertise in medical, medical research, educational, aviation, and manufacturing facilities.

He is active in the community and serves on the board of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Middle Tennessee, the National Kidney Foundation Middle Tennessee Walk Chair, Nashville Chamber Moving Forward Committee, and as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. Previous community service includes chair of the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering and Applied Science Alumni Board, chair of jobs for Cincinnati Graduates as well as vice chair for Cincinnati Youth Collaborative.
