Dennis Smith

Dennis Smith is an experienced Contract Minister at North/West Lower Michigan Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America since January 2018 and has been serving as Pastor at Messiah Lutheran Church since 2006, focusing on proclamation, teaching, and administration within an ELCA Lutheran Congregation. Dennis holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) in Theology/Ministry from Trinity Lutheran Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) in Theological and Ministerial Studies from Western Theological Seminary, both obtained from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, Dennis earned a Master’s Degree in Physics Teacher Education from Michigan State University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Michigan-Flint.
