Karen Bonarrigo has a diverse work experience in various administrative and legal roles. Karen started their career as a File Clerk at Carol M. Lauchmen, P.C in 2000, where they focused on marriage and divorce law, family law, zoning law, and real estate law. From 2006 to 2006, they worked as a Legal Assistant at Marzulla Law, LLC, dealing with takings claims against the federal government and environmental and natural resources cases. Karen then joined Mewborn Law Office in 2007 as a Litigation Paralegal, specializing in workers' compensation, real estate, corporate/business law, criminal defense, and traffic violations defense. In 2010, Karen began their tenure at Messina Hof Winery and Resort as a Human Resources Manager, eventually becoming the Director of Administration in 2012 and the Chief Administrative Officer in 2018, where they currently hold the position.

Karen Bonarrigo earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and History from The George Washington University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as an Introductory Level certification from The Court of Master Sommeliers in March 2019 and a WSET II (Pass with Distinction) certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in January 2017.
