Bill Woods

Bill Woods is an experienced professional with a diverse background in administrative support and the film industry. Currently serving as Host and Consultant at New Filmmakers NY since April 2005, Bill has taken on various roles including co-programmer over the past 16 years. Concurrently, Bill has worked as Front Desk and Supervising Receptionist at the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty since July 2008, providing essential administrative support across various nonprofit programs. Previous experience includes positions as Film Programmer and Host at FilmFest Reloaded, Administrative Aide at NYU, and several administrative roles at Vantage Consulting. Bill's earlier career featured acting at SAG-AFTRA and involvement in theater sound at Workhouse Theater, with roots as a DJ at wsia from 1987 to 1989. Bill holds a degree from The City University of New York earned between 1987 and 1991.
