Demetra Blazheva-Zlatarova

Demetra Blazheva-Zlatarova is a Power Trade and Operations Specialist at MET Group since January 2023, with prior experience in energy trading and operations at Nomad Energy Company and Grand Energy Distribution. Demetra's career in the energy sector began as a Project Expert at CEZ Bulgaria EAD, following a student internship at the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission. Early career roles included customer care and support positions at Zumba, Sixty K Ltd, and Seatwave. Demetra holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Management and Development of the Energy Sector from New Bulgarian University and a Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering Management from the Technical University of Sofia, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from New Bulgarian University. Demetra's educational background also includes an Erasmus exchange at the University of Konstanz.
