Bruce Truscott

Bruce Truscott is an accomplished meteorology professional with extensive experience in technical services and international relations. Currently serving as Associate Director of Technical Services at the Met Office since January 2021, Bruce leads the delivery of technical services. Prior to this role, Bruce was Head of EUMETNET Observations Programmes from January 2019 to January 2021, overseeing activities for 31 European National Meteorological Services. Bruce held several important positions at the Met Office from January 2005 to December 2018, including Head of International Relations and Deputy Head of the Observations Programme, and also acted as Executive Head of Observations. Bruce's earlier experience includes serving as Satellite Programme Manager at EUMETNET and Eucos Operations Manager. Bruce holds a BSc Hons in Meteorology & Oceanography from the University of Plymouth.
