Pete Falloon

Pete Falloon is a Professor of Climate Resilient Food Systems at the University of Bristol, leading initiatives in food security, climate change, and resilience strategies. With extensive experience at the Met Office since 2004, serving as Science Lead for Food Security and Climate Service Lead for Food, Farming & Natural Environment, Pete has significantly contributed to adaptation policy and coordination among various networks. Additionally, Pete holds the position of Director of Sustainability for Food Drink Devon, promoting local food and drink producers. Previously, Pete worked at Rothamsted Research and other organizations, focusing on soil science, climate impacts modeling, and environmental research, culminating in a PhD from the University of Nottingham and multiple prestigious publications.
