Marie Natanson joined Meta Centre’s Board of Directors in 2011. Professionally, Marie is a freelance journalist, television producer, and director. She has worked at the BBC and CBC in news and current affairs and has made films in the Middle East, Europe, the USA, and throughout Canada. Her latest position was as Executive Producer (CBC) of documentaries, with a particular emphasis on social issues. With her unit, Marie has won numerous national and international awards (5 Emmys / 2 Peabodys). She has also served on the Human Rights Watch Film Festival committee and has written for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
