Abigail Sooy

Abigail Sooy is a seasoned professional in product and regulatory operations with a substantial history at Meta, currently serving as VP of Product and Regulatory Operations since October 2021. In this role, Abigail oversees human data operations for Gen AI model development, product quality initiatives, legal and compliance operations, and tooling for large-scale operations. Previously, Abigail held the position of VP of Community Product Operations, leading teams focused on integrity, product delivery, and machine learning across Meta's platforms. Abigail's career at Facebook spanned nearly a decade, with roles including Director of Community Product Operations where operations investments in customer support were scaled, and Director of Community Operations prioritizing integrity and safety. Prior experience includes business development roles at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Newsweek, McKinsey & Company, and Hearst Magazines. Abigail holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Princeton University.
