Agustya Mehta

Agustya Mehta possesses extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles within prominent technology companies, including Meta, NAUTO, Microsoft, and Apple. At Meta, Mehta served as Director of System Platforms and Engineering Manager from April 2019 to August 2022. Prior to that, Mehta held key positions at NAUTO as Head of Hardware and Firmware and Senior Director of Hardware from January 2017 to January 2019. Significant contributions to Microsoft included a role as Director of Electrical Engineering, where Mehta was instrumental in shipping the HoloLens and leading system electrical engineering design, as well as a position as Senior Electrical Engineering Lead overseeing HoloLens EE system design. Earlier experience at Apple involved hardware design and electrical engineering integration for the iPhone lineup, including the iPhone 4S, 5S, and the introduction of Touch ID. Mehta's career began at Microsoft as a Hardware Engineer focusing on the Xbox 360 console and Kinect. Academic qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
