Aki Cheung has extensive experience in privacy and data management, having served as Privacy & Data Policy Manager for Meta in APAC and EMEA from December 2021 to February 2023, and as Data Protection Manager for Cathay Pacific and Collinson in early 2023. Previously, Aki Cheung held various roles at PwC in Audit & Assurance from September 2007 to August 2009 and worked at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data in Hong Kong from August 2021 to December 2021 as Head of Global Affairs & Research. Aki Cheung began a career in academia as an Accounting Tutor at HKU SPACE in 2006. Aki Cheung holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
