Alan Bruce has extensive experience in software engineering and technical leadership, having held various roles from January 1994 to the present. Beginning as a Business Analyst/Analyst Programmer at American Express, Alan transitioned to a Technical Team Lead at Macquarie Group and later served as a Software Engineering Manager at Nomura, managing development teams and implementing Agile practices. Alan's role as Senior Software Delivery Lead at Schroders involved overseeing the architecture and delivery of global applications to enhance internal decision support. Currently a Technical Program Manager at Meta within Facebook Reality Labs, Alan focuses on advancing engineering productivity. Alan holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Computing and a degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Adelaide.
